We spent the last weekend renovating our new office space on Murray Street, which more than once left us exhausted, seeking a local pick-me-up. Luckily a quaint little café across the street called Angelina Café and Espresso Bar was there to catch us. The café, which has been there for a little over a year now, is brightly lit, with amazing vivid local art on the walls, heightening the little café’s vibrancy to levels usually only reserved for the French countryside and Scandanavian fabrics.
We were taken in by the warm fragrance of coffee beans that filled the air, and struggled to choose just one thing to eat among their carefully prepared desserts and pastries, and their delicious looking salads.
If you’re in the Byward Market and want to spend a quiet, sunlit afternoon with a coffee and desserts, drop by Murray Street for the quintessential café experience!
